A dated, verifiable record of any idea – and an honest comparison
Mindgate certifies three things only: that a named Claimant submitted specific content at a specific time, that an automated comparison produced a stated result, and that this record was anchored on a blockchain.
From upload to certificate
Submit
Text, PDF or DOCX, up to 200,000 characters and 10 files.
Hash and timestamp
SHA-256 of your content and the UTC time are fixed at upload.
Pay
USD 1,000 via Stripe Checkout, charged up front.
Intake and compliance
Classification, moderation and duplicate screening; public-safe queries.
Parallel search
Official APIs only, with abstracted keyword queries – never your text.
Similarity engine
Ranks the closest 20 records with text, claim and mark signals.
LLM 1 – analyst
Scores each match and explains the overlapping elements.
Citation check
Every citation must exist in the retrieved pool and resolve.
LLM 2 – validator
A different vendor re-scores and looks for missed matches.
LLM 3 – adjudicator
Resolves conflicts. A gap above 20 points means provisional plus human review.
Certificate and anchor
Signed PDF, proof bundle, Merkle anchor and public registry entry.
The Originality Score
Originality = 100 − maxm ∈ prior art w(m) · similarity(m)
- 0 means identical to existing work; 100 means nothing similar was found. The closest-match similarity is printed beside it.
- Only works dated before your submission count in full; later similar works are listed but down-weighted.
- Where evaluators disagree, the lower originality is used.
- The final score can never be higher than 100 minus the closest cited match.
- At or below 30 the certificate carries a red “Substantially similar to prior art” banner.
Confidential by default
- Public repositories receive only short keyword queries, never your text.
- Content is encrypted at rest with a per-submission key; the public record holds metadata only.
- Only hashes go on-chain – no personal data. Erasure shreds the key while the hash remains.
- Your private report is available only to you, or through a per-submission access link.
- Earlier Mindgate submissions count as prior art, but only their existence is revealed.
